Steamforged Games' partnership together with Jagex is the most recent in a string of collaborations , bringing some of gaming's biggest franchises into a tabletop environment. The tabletop gaming juggernaut previously created board games based on RS Gold games like Monster Hunter World and Dark Souls and, most recently, completed an extremely successful Kickstarter campaign for a Resident Evil 2 board game in which they raised over one million GBP during the course of the year.
Now, the developer is aiming at Gielinor's world and RuneScape and plans to launch both a board game and the core book for tabletop RPGs this year. The two RPG adaptations will feature some of the most loved characters and locations, allowing a group of five or more players to tackle classic adventures that are part of RuneScape while bringing adventures in the realm of Gielinor to the home of Gielinor.
Players can design and upgrade their equipment, interact with NPCs as well as take on numerous side quests that are influenced from the popular MMORPG. The board game will launch through a Kickstarter campaign later in the year. Meanwhile, the main tabletop RPG book is set to go to stores directly.
The primary book for tabletop RPGs is expected to be compatible with the tabletop game Dungeons and Dragons' fifth edition books, allowing dungeon masters to seamlessly integrate elements from RuneScape into Buy RS Gold their games.
